Surprises

One very exciting aspect of the Christian life is the reality of serving a living God. As Jesus rose from the dead, never again to face death or decay, Romans 6:9, Those who believe on Him can live both now, and for eternity, Romans 8:11, I Corinthians 15:20.

Often we pray, or hear others prayers about seeking God's direction, or His will for their lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 direct us in that very thing. We must trust and delight in the Lord. Additionally Psalm 119:104-105 plainly tell us that direction in life is found in the word of God. Seeking His direction can take you in unexpected directions. In those moments apply Proverbs 3:5-6. It matters not that you do or do not understand what God is doing. It matters that you trust Him, and that you acknowledge Him in every aspect of your life. If He said it, (in the Bible), then you can, and must lean on that alone.

So as I was seeking God's direction in the areas in which I minister, as Chaplain, as filling the Pulpit, and teaching a Sunday morning in depth Bible study, I received a telephone call. I had provided an interview on the Artist First Radio Network regarding my book The Tactical Heart. 2 weeks later I was provided the opportunity to host my own radio program. Since the end of May, I have been broadcasting a program called Ask the Chaplain on the network. Provided the opportunity to serve the Lord worldwide through the internet radio program has been sobering, amazing, and humbling.

I hope that if you are reading this, that you will check out the program. You can listen live, or go back and listen to any past program in the archive. Check it out, and email me your questions. I will provide an answer from the scriptures.
